The award ceremony was conducted in University of Patras, Greece. It was attended by many important dignitaries including Rector of the University, Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) of the University and Kuwait Ambassador to Greece.

- Australian Chapter:- Dr Pam McGrath and her team, International Program of Psycho-Social Health Research (IPP-SHR), have worked closely with IRPC on a range of research projects.
- Australian Chapter:- Hamish Holewa, IPP-SHR has contributed to the development of IRPC's journal, the Austral-Asian Journal of Cancer, a HERDC recognised, peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary cancer journal.

- IRPC Japan Chapter under the leadership of Prof. Takashi Nakano in collaboration with NPO Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Radiation Medicine has decided to donate Radiotherapy Machines to developing countries. The NPO has already donated a machine to Yemen.
